Laura Stradley, Army Veteran and Executive Director, VOC, was on-site at the Omega TMM headquarters in Fairport, NY to accept a check raised over the last 2 weeks in an effort to give back to the veterans for all they do for this country.
Patrick Quirk, Omega Service Manager and Veteran, who served in the Marines for 25 years, was recognized and received a plaque from Omega TMM team and a Challenge medal from the Veterans Outreach Center.
The t-shirts the Omega TMM team purchased for veterans day were from Grunt Style Apparel, which is not only made in America, but is operated by over 400 veterans. The team in charge of purchasing the apparel for their fellow employees wanted to ensure that any money spent on the Veterans day celebration would positively impact the veterans community. Once Omega TMM employees saw the custom shirts and read the Grunt Style mission statement, it was a clear that the “American Made” shirt was the perfect choice.
Other highlights of the day included included a memorabilia table ( Medals, plaques, pictures, and even uniforms) of employee’s family who served or are serving in all branches of the military. Mike Nuccitelli, CEO and Chris Inzinga, Executive Director, sponsored a breakfast and lunch for all employees in honor of the special day at the company.
